Meet the Bubbilicious Bag!
As soon as I received happy mail which included Re-Tweed by Lion Brand Yarn, I knew I wanted to use it to make a bag. This yarn is a recycled blend cotton yarn and has tweed flecks and a nubby texture, which is a perfect combination to hold a sturdy shape.
The Bubbilicious Bag is a great for those who want to try the puff stitch or love a quick and mindless project. You can use this as a project bag, beach bag, market bag, summer purse – the options are endless! The combination of yarn and stitches create a sturdy base and straps to hold whatever is it you need.
There are so many great cotton and recycled yarns to make this bag with, but it’s definitely a perfect stash busting project, too! My pattern testers all used different yarns for their bags and I absolutely love how each of theirs turned out. Their creativity with using yarn they had in their stash and the color combos truly showcase how versatile and fun this bag can be.
They inspired me to stash dive myself and make a second bag, which I made with Sugar’n Cream cotton yarn by Yarnspirations. I love both of my bags and I know I will use them equally! You can never have enough project bags, am I right? 🙂
