  • Approximately 612 g / 168 yd of Category 7 Jumbo Weight Yarn

  • US Q/16mm Crochet Hook, or hook to obtain gauge
  • Scissors
  • Tape Measure
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Steamer (optional)

Gauge

4” / 10 cm = 4.5 sts x 3.5 rows in hdc slst, unblocked and unstretched

Finished Size

Measurements are unblocked and unstretched.

7” / 18 cm W x 85” / 221 cm L

Pattern Notes

  • All Little Red Knits’ patterns are written in standard US terms.
  • Ch 1 at the beginning of each row does not count as a stitch.
  • It is recommended to steam your scarf for the best finished results.
  • Keep in mind: your gauge, yardage used, and finished size may vary depending on if you make any changes to the pattern as written.

Pattern

Row 1: Ch 95, working in the back bumps of the chain, hdc slst in 2nd ch from hook and every ch across, turn. (94)

Rows 2-7: Ch 1, hdc slst in first st, hdc slst in the blo in every st until 1 st remains, hdc sl st in last st, turn.

Cut yarn, tie off, and weave in all ends. Steam or block scarf for the best finished results.
