Description:
The Harmony Shawls are a beginner friendly, worsted and sock weight patterns that uses two of my favorite stitches: double crochet and the puff stitch. This two toned, modern striped shawl has amazing texture and drape, and can be worn many ways, through many seasons.
Skills:
-Beginner
-You will need to know how to ch, dc, increase, PS, and have basic crochet skills and how to read a pattern.
Gauge:
Worsted – 4” / 10 cm = 12 sts x 8 rows in dc, unblocked and unstretched
Sock – 4” / 10 cm = 21 sts x 12 rows in dc, unblocked and unstretched
Sizes:
-One Size, with instructions on how to customize your wrap to your preferred dimensions.
Materials:
Sock Weight:
-Approximately 1,250 yd or 255 g of Sock Weight Category #1 Yarn; Color A – 935 yd / 191 g, Color B – 315 yd / 64 g
-US D/3.25mm Crochet Hook, or hook to obtain gauge
Worsted Weight:
-Approximately 740 yd or 680 m of Worsted Category #4 Weight Yarn
-US H/5mm Crochet Hook, or hook to obtain gauge
Notions:
-Scissors
-Stitch Marker
-Tape Measure
-Tapestry Needle
-Blocking Mats, T-Pins, & Wool Wash, or Steamer (optional)
