Crochet Pattern – Crosswinds Wrap

Overview:
Two patterns in one! The Crosswinds Wrap includes both DK and Sock Weight patterns and both are the perfect lightweight and airy accessory. This lacey scarf is a great transitioning piece through the seasons, and the long fringe is a serious show stopping finishing touch. This design was made in collaboration with Montana Crochet hand dyed yarn, and also has instructions to make in sock weight or DK weight yarn. This pattern is a great stash buster, as it only uses 2 skeins of yarn, or one to showcase that beautiful hand dyed yarn you’ve been saving for a special occasion.

Skills:
Beginner
You will need to know how to make foundation chain stitches, chain, double crochet, and have basic knowledge of crochet skills and terminology

Materials (Sock):
• 2 skeins of category #1 weight yarn, sample used Montana Crochet in color Nebula, or approximately 800 yds 80% Superwash Merino/20% Nylon Sock weight yarn
• Size 3.25 mm crochet hook – or hook to obtain gauge
• Tapestry Needle
• Scissors
• Cardboard or thin book for fringe, (optional)
• Tape Measure

Materials (DK):
• 2 skeins category #3 weight yarn, sample used Montana Crochet in color Festival, or approximately 451 yards 100% Superwash Merino DK weight yarn
• Size 4mm crochet hook – or hook to obtain gauge
• Tapestry Needle
• Scissors
• Cardboard or thin book for fringe, (optional)
• Tape Measure
