Achieve the look of knit cables without actually knitting cables! Say hello to the Faux Cable Blanket, an advanced beginner knitting pattern that uses basic stitches to create a braided cable look, and also produces a beautiful ribbed opposite side.

-You will need to know how to cast on, knit, purl, slip, psso, yo, bind off, and have basic knitting skills and how to read a pattern.

-24” x 36” / 61 cm x 92 cm
-36” x 48” / 92 cm x 122 cm
-36” x 60” / 92 cm x 152 cm
-48” x 60” / 122 cm x 152 cm
-60” x 72” / 152 cm x 183 cm

Materials:
-Approximately 710 (1418, 1772, 2363, 3544) yd or 340 (682, 852, 1136, 1704) g of Bulky Category #5 Weight Yarn, held double
Designer’s sample made with Scarfie in the color Cream/Black by Lion Brand Yarn
-US 11/8mm Addi Circular Knitting Needles with a 40” cord, or needles to obtain gauge
-Scissors
-Tape Measure
-Tapestry Needle
-Steamer (optional)
-6” book or piece or thin cardboard (optional)
