Hey there, happy Friday!

I have two new crochet patterns for you and I am so excited about them both!

The first one that I want to share is the Crosswinds Cardi. That’s right, she is cuuute and as classy as they come. This design has been in my head ever since I released the Crosswinds Wrap, (click here to check out the pdf pattern, with instructions for the sock weight and DK weight instructions).

The Crosswinds Cardi was made with Cotton Jeans by Lion Brand Yarn, which is a DK #3 Weight Yarn. This cardigan is the perfect lightweight and airy layer for those brunch dates to evening wear. She’s not quite cropped, but hits right at the waist which is super flattering for all shapes and sizes. This design is written for sizes XS-5X, is an intermediate level, but could be a great transition for an advanced beginner to try their hand at garments as it uses mostly double crochet + chain stitches!

The Crosswinds Cardi is now available as a Lion Brand Kit, but if you already have yarn or want to try a different yarn than what I used, no problem! You can grab the inexpensive, ad-free, PDF copy in my Etsy or Ravelry shops.

Next Up..

The next pattern I have is a precious granny square motif pattern, the Sydney Baby Blanket. The Sydney Baby Blanket is made up of lacey shell stitch squares, assembled together to create a classic granny square blanket. This modern twist on a classic design will be an heirloom to treasure through many years and generations to come.
