Happy Friday!

And Happy New Year! I hope you all are having a great start to 2022, but I can’t believe it’s February already.

I am ready to kick off this month with not one, but TWO new knitting patterns!

First up is the Tullamore Toque & Cowl. Knit a chunky, textured, and reversible set using only Knit and Purl stitches. Both the Toque and Cowl are included in the pattern, and are very beginner friendly. They use Super Bulky Weight Yarn, so these cozy items will off your needles in no time and are sure to be your new favorite cold weather accessories! My sample was made with Wool Ease Thick & Quick in the color Fisherman by Lion Brand Yarn, but any Category #6 Weight Yarn will work! Mix and match, color block, stripe, or use up some scraps to make your Tullamore Set unique and fun.

NEXT UP is the The Pine Ridge Poncho

The Pine Ridge Poncho transforms simple shapes and beginner knit stitches into a stylish garment. This poncho design features different textures, modern color blocking, and an asymmetrical silhouette that is flattering for all shapes and sizes. I made my sample with Wool Ease in the colors Natural Heather and Forest Green Heather by Lion Brand Yarn, but any Category #4 Weight Yarn will work!

This design is a sister pattern to the Maple Ridge Poncho (Crochet), and as soon as I finished that one I knew I had to make a knit version! I love both equally, and I am so pleased with how this one turned out after using the crochet pattern as a guide.
